Galata Tower is located in the Beyoğlu district of Istanbul. It takes its name from the Galata district where it is located. Built as a watchtower within the Galata Walls, the tower serves as an exhibition venue and museum as of 2020, after being used for different purposes in different periods. It is one of the symbolic buildings of both Beyoğlu and Istanbul.
I would like to talk about the story of the Galata tower. Galata Tower and Maiden's Tower love each other. But they cannot meet. The reason for this is the Istanbul Strait. They write love letters to each other for years. One of Hazarfen Ahmet Çelebi's biggest dreams is to fly. He goes to Galata Tower to realize this dream.Galata Tower gives her love letters to take to the Maiden's Tower and supports her to fly with the wind. Hazerfen flies and reaches the Maiden's Tower. The Maiden's Tower is happy because their love is not platonic, and they still continue as the 2 most important symbols of Istanbul.
